The Woodfield Project, based at the Woodfield Pavilion, is currently seeking a part time Administrative Assistant to join our team and continue to help the development of our community venue.

Meet the Team…

 

Janet Baker - Pavilion Manager

Janet started in September 2019 and has been steering the Pavilion ever since.

Liz Steer - Treasurer.

Joined the Board of Trustees in 2021. Liz spent her career in the Retail industry and running her own Business consultancy. As Treasurer she manages all things Financial as well as helping improve Business operations as the charity develops. She has been involved for many years in local drama group Southside , and enjoys getting involved in community activity at Woodfield. 

Pete ward

Peter Ward is a resident of Abbotswood Rd and senior manager in the gaming industry, having held similar positions in broadcast TV production companies. He was elected as a trustee to the board in 2021.

norman marshall

Norman Marshall is a Wandsworth Borough councillor, representing South Balham Ward, and sits as a trustee of the Woodfield project in that capacity. He previously worked in management consulting and as an English teacher.

BARBARA JENNINGS

Barbara Jennings retired in December 2020 after nearly forty years working in the marine insurance industry in the City of London. She has lived in Tooting for over thirty years, and became a trustee of the Woodfield in 2023. 

JANE TINGLE

Jane Tingle has worked in the not-for-profit sector for more than twenty years, with particular expertise in fundraising from grant-givers. She also set up a popular Walk and Talk group, which meets on Tooting Common every Saturday. Jane became a trustee in 2024.

MARK BERY

Mark Bery is qualified accountant with senior management experience in the university sector.  Nominated by the Tooting Common Management Advisory Committee. Chair of the BMT (Building Management  Team)  of TWP and responsible for TWP’s Charity Administration. Special interests heritage and biodiversity. Mark became a trustee in 2021.

PAUL MINER - CHAIR

Paul is Head of Policy at CPRE, the countryside charity, where he has worked since 2002. Paul is a chartered town planner and served as Deputy Chair of the charity Wildlife & Countryside Link from 2015 to 2018. As Chair of the Board Paul is responsible for maintaining the overall capacity of the TWP Board to carry out its functions through chairing the AGM and quarterly meetings, maintaining the integrity of Board procedures and policies, and recruiting trustees and supporting them in their contribution to Woodfield’s governance.
